So every so often Pandah decides she wants to watch a horror movie.  This usually leads to a bunch of sighs and a night of crying even after I try to persuede her not to watch them.  Well, this time she chose ‘The Human Centipede’.  I put my face in my palm and began watching… But, when the centipede was shown, she shouted out “HER FACE IS IN HIS -BUTT-“

We then proceeded to make plenty of cheeky (haha geddit) jokes.

Also hi hello we aren’t dead.  We’ve just been busy and we kinda don’t really care for tumblr because of how it has treated us and our friends in the past.  If anyone wants to have more contact, you can always hit us up on etsy or skype (pondoh) just make sure to tell us who you are!

Gosh I wish I would have known how triggering The Hunger Games series was before I got into it :)

I wouldn’t recommend anyone with ptsd reading it. It has too many factors to say who it may be safe for.  Lots of high descriptors of close combat war, ptsd and how it effects numerous individuals, mental instability, exubrent war injuries, mind control, loss of loved ones, nuclear warfare, human trafficking, child death.  Only a few of the ones I can think of.

I really loved the Underland Chronicles by the author (Look for the first book, “Gregor the Overlander”!) but this one was too much for me… Too real, too triggering to my experiences.  Mom still doesn’t understand why I had 5 million panic attacks while trying to gut to the end of it hoping it would end nicely, but it is hard to understand the effects if you don’t know them yourself.  I handled the first book ok, but the other two really got to me, especially the last one.

I guess this is a prewarning to anyone thinking about reading it who was wondering if they would be triggered?  I mean it is a well written series but… It is also a dangerous one to those who may have adverse thoughts while reading.
